This year, instead of a Christmas party, our squadron decided to have one on New Year's Eve. I'm glad I was able to get a sitter so that I could go, because I was pleasantly surprised when I was given the award for 27 SOSS Spouse of the Year. I honestly don't feel like I do all that much, but it is nice knowing that someone thinks that I do!!
I enjoyed the evening very much. Craig's boss, Lt Col. Mershon, and his wife, Kelly, were sweet to keep me company all night since I was there solo. They've become good friends of ours and I'm so happy that Craig has such an awesome boss.

Yes, you totally deserve that, Jamie! I'm so glad you were recognized! You are a wonderful example to all military spouses.
